Terms & Conditions
By renting a vehicle from Rafay Rent a Car, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, fair, and smooth rental experience for both parties.
1. Rental Agreement
The rental agreement becomes effective once the vehicle is handed over to the customer along with the keys. The renter is responsible for complying with all terms during the rental period.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To rent a vehicle, the customer must:
Be at least 21 years of age (for self-drive rentals)
Provide a valid CNIC
Hold a valid driving license (for self-drive rentals)
Pay the required security deposit based on vehicle category
Rafay Rent a Car reserves the right to refuse service if requirements are not met.
3. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals:
Sedan: PKR 10,000 – 20,000
SUV: PKR 20,000 – 30,000
Van: PKR 25,000 – 35,000
The deposit will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in good condition, subject to inspection.
4. Vehicle Usage
The rented vehicle:
Must not be used for illegal or unlawful activities
Must not be sub-rented or handed over to another person
Must not be driven outside Lahore without prior approval
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle
Pets are not allowed unless approved in advance
Violation of these rules may result in penalties or termination of the rental.
5. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same level. For rentals with a driver, fuel expenses are generally borne by the customer unless agreed otherwise.
6. Damages & Liability
The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or misuse of the vehicle during the rental period. This includes mechanical damage caused by negligence or improper use.
Repair or replacement costs may be deducted from the security deposit if required.
7. Late Returns
A grace period of 1 hour is allowed. Returns beyond this period may be charged on an hourly or daily basis, depending on delay duration.
8. Cancellations
Cancellations should be communicated in advance. Cancellation charges, if any, may apply depending on booking time and rental type.
